MTA Summer Conference 2009
Williamstown - Sun - Thurs, August 2 - 6

The flyer for the MTA's Summer Conference this year was in the April/May issue of MTA Today. It is also located on the MTA website (click here).

Contact your chapter president NOW about possible MCCC financial support. The conference costs $120 per night which includes single dorm room and 3 meals a day and all conference materials. Look over the schedule to see how many days you want to attend and plan to attend every day for which you register!

To qualify for MCCC funding you MUST
1.  Get the approval of your chapter president
2.  Your chapter president must notify the MCCC office
3.  After your chapter president notifies you, submit your application to MTA

PRIOR TO Wednesday May 27

  1. GET CHAPTER PRESIDENT AUTHORIZATION (3 per chapter guaranteed, more than that on a funding-availability basis (waiting list)).
  2. SUBMIT COMPLETED FORM to the MTA, WITH NO PAYMENT
New this year: Online registration is offered by the MTA, but you will need your chapter president's authorization first.
Williamstown is a beautiful location, with a great art museum, sports facilities, and other cultural and scenic attractions. The conference is a relaxed summer retreat - give it a try!

IT IS THE ATTENDEE'S RESPONSIBILITY TO GET APPROVAL FROM THE CHAPTER PRESIDENT BY Wednesday May 27.

The MTA handles your registration. The MCCC handles funding support.

Note: Any member is of course welcome to attend the conference without MCCC support. Simply register with the MTA!
